SUBJECT: 50th anniversary contributions

I would like to suggest a more aggressive and competition based funds mobilisation drive towards our 50th ann. it goes like this: 1. let us have a web site divided into varoius year groups where people can pledge their contributions and redeem same through existing systems 2. columns where people can stste their initial and two other pledges 3. lets have columns where the site administrator or treasure upon receipt of payment advice can credit payments against individual pledges within their year groups 4 have results sheet showing the standings of the various year groups from top to bottom 5. have another summary sheet showing the top 10 individual contributors 6 and finaly there will be presentation of prizes on d-day to first 3 year groups and individual contributors As no year group wants to be last, people will keep on adjusting and redeeming their pledges as well as get on any known year mate to contribute. Unfortunately I do not posses the IT skills to desing a web site but I suppose should not be difficult for our IT gurus to do or even procure
